Nikon Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

Brought The Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G from my local camera store (Cathay Photo) during Christmas last year.

When the sales person bring the box infront of me , my heart was literally going to explode because of excitement.

I unbox it & i took it out. At that moment , i went WOW ! The lens feel very solid & is very well built.

The front element have a big chunk of glass & the lens hood protect it well.

Try out the ‘Bokeh’ of this lens with my D700 & it’s simply amazing. Image quality is Top-notch.

The 24-70mm f/2.8G ED has Nano Crystal Coating which is Nikon Lastest Coating Development Technology that is to suppress internal reflections and ghostings when taking a picture.

Lens is sharp through-out the aperture even at f/16.

For used on DX camera, The 24-70mm f/2.8G ED is equivalent to a classic “36-105mm” lens.

The lens may lose quite a bit of its wide-angle appeal here but it is certainly more usable as a standard zoom.

Like all modern Nikkors it features a silent-wave (ultrasonic) AF motor providing extremely fast and near-silent AF operations.
