Billingham Hadley Series

Billingham Hadley Pro Review

I finally brought another billingham camera bag.

The main features of the bag are the semi-rigid carrying handle on the top lid, the zippered rear pocket, the quick release straps and the removable padded interior.

I used to use Lowepro Stealth Reporter D300 Aw camera bag. After using it for quite some time , i find that it’s squarish & bulky.

I decided to look for another shoulder/messenger camera bag , look up for review to see how much the billingham bag could hold.

It’s simply perfect for me. I brought it in black colour. The Hadley range of bags are available in two different types of fabric: traditional canvas and synthetic FibreNtye

I’ve also read that the FibreNyte material, while it holds the colour better, has a slight shine and texture to it that you don’t get with the canvas bags.

Since both are rated as waterproof by Billingham, the differences are minimal.

It’s slim & could hold tons of gear. Thumbs up for the design. It’s black leather look classy & totally don’t like a typical bulky camera bag.

This is the list of gear it could hold.

  1. Nikon D700 with 24-70mm ( Hood reverse )
  2. Nikon SB-900
  3. Pocketwizard Mini TT1 & FlexTT5
  4. Nikon 85mm f1.8
  5. Nikon 50mm f1.8D
  6. Panasonic SD-90 camcorder
  7. Battery Charger & cables
  8. Card Reader
  9. Hard-drive
  10. LensPen
  11. iPad2

It’s all the gear that i need when i travel or go on a shoot.

I’m really shocked that i could hold so much plus it’s could fit a ipad2 perfectly is a bonus for me.

If you are looking for a camera bag which is slim , durable , lightweight & you have extra money to invest , Definitely go for The billingham bag.

Quality control is awesome too.

I would be doing a video/review on this bag in the near future.
